- What is it?
- Known throughout the world as "The
Emerald City", "The Lost Mines of Solomon" and "Eden", the ESL
Resource Library is just that....a library of resources...among
which are texts, audio tapes, video tapes and snazzy magnetic
boards that have colorful little pictures you can play with
when the students are at recess or on their smoke
break.
- Who is it for?
- Any seeker of Truth and Enlightenment
will find only approriate materials for teaching English as a
second language to adults, adolesecents and children as well as
materials suitable for training teachers, therefore seekers of
Truth and Enlightenment are encouraged to consult a search
engine on the web. Those interested in ESL resources are
encourage to come to the library.
- Where can I find it?
- Many brave souls have met their doom
on perilous journeys to legendary abodes of instruction and
enlightenment, however the ESL Resource Library is much easier
to get to...unless you try crossing Patterson Street around 4
pm. Like the Good Book says, "Seek and ye shall find," and the
place to seek is at the University of Memphis in Patterson Hall
Room 218.
- When can I go there?
- Like the ever shifting sands of the
great deserts, the times of operation for the library are
changing. It's a good idea to call 678 4509 before dropping by.
Drop-ins are always welcome however the librarian may be out
furthering world peace, attending class or getting
coffee.
